"The words of a man’s mouth are deep waters;
the fountain of wisdom is a bubbling brook.
From the fruit of a man’s mouth his stomach is satisfied;
he is satisfied by the yield of his lips.
Death and life are in the power of the tongue,
and those who love it will eat its fruits"
Prov. 18:4,20-22
My wife and I had a great time visiting with citizens in Saline County and discussing issues that concern us. Thank you to the Granny Brigade for arranging this Q &A, and thanks to the citizens for your support.
A special thanks to Representative Scott Hill (Abilene) for his words of wisdom concerning the recent votes in the Legislative Special Session. I thank him for standing for truth in the State house and standing against irresponsible spending of the taxpayer’s money.
For my part I was disturbed at the position on the Right to Life taken by so many Republican members of the panel last night when we were asked to respond on how we stand on abortion. I fail to understand how someone who identifies as a Republican can take the Pro-choice position. The unalienable rights to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness ends for each and every individual life that is suddenly ended with every elective abortion.
I remind everyone that those who would not stand to protect the right to life of another is not likely to stand to protect the unalienable rights of you and I. Nor are they likely to get the right answer on property rights, or recognize what is responsible spending of our tax dollars. If one would study the issues, they would find that those who get the right answer on life usually get the right answer on most of the issues that concern us.
I encourage all candidates and voters to study the issues that concern us and to make their decisions based on truth, and not on what popular culture is leading us to today. The truth may not always lead us to the answers we want, but until we as a culture begin making our decisions based on truth and what is right, we will continue to find ourselves being led into the ditch, and off into the abyss. So, if we would know the truth, the truth would make us free.
STAND FOR AMERICA: STAND FOR KANSAS.
And vote for me August 6th.
